Somewhere in the Haight-Kikuchi District of San Fransokyo, there's an old Queen Anne Victorian built sometime in the early 1900s that hosts the The Lucky Cat Café on the bottom floor - which has also, historically, been in the building since the early 1900s. It's changed hands more than a few times but is currently run by one Aunt Cass, last name unknown (it's not fucking Hamada you piece of shit weebs). Cass and her nephew(s?), plural when Tadashi's not being super dead, live in the upper two floors of the house. Sometimes Hiro kinda lives in the garage too but we don't talk about the embarrassing times he sleeps in there for three straight days.
Open post. Tag Aunt Cass & she'll give you a coffee or THROW A VEGETABLE AT YOU OR something.
No, no no. [She laughs a little, waving a hand as she guides him into the kitchen and away from chasing the customers.] I'm fine. I just wondered if you'd like to help with the baking.
[He's a robot, and she knows that, but in demeanor he sort of reminds her of when Hiro was just a toddler...if Hiro could speak in complete sentences and had a PhD in the medical field, but. Okay so he's not really like a toddler but he's very simple and single-minded that way.
She starts with something easy, holding out two racks of yet-to-be baked bread dough for him.]
[Baymax is easy to herd into the kitchen, Aunt Cass has got his attention, so any thoughts of continuing to follow the cafe's patrons are gone.]
I am not programmed for baking, but I would be glad to help.
[He's not sure what he can do to assist her, but there are several dangers present in the kitchen. Accidents usually don't happen, but if she wanted him to stand by in case something happened, he'd be happy to.
So, he's a little surprised when he's handed items to hold, but he recovers quickly. He gently takes the trays and carefully holds them, it's an easy task, thanks to his strength.]
Yes.
[Baymax looks down at the bread and attempts to figure out what she's baking.]
What are you going to do with this dough?
[He's programmed with knowledge of healthy food, but doesn't have much of an idea of how to actually prepare it.]
no subject

Could you hold these while I get the oven?
