[On bad days, Hiro spent a lot of time on the other side of the room.

Today was one of those days. Even with his brother around again, there's months and months of leftover grief to deal with; months of build-up of hatred for Callaghan and guilt over that one time he'd slipped and turned Baymax into something he shouldn't have been. He hadn't told Tadashi about that yet. He was scared to. He was scared that maybe Callaghan was right and he really did have no respect for his brother or his memory.

Let's hope you grow up to be half the man he was. The man he is, right at the moment, thanks to Krei Tech of all things. Either way, that's a tall order to live up to.

So when he gets home he crawls onto his brother's bed and curls up with his stupid baseball cap and mopes. He tries not to think about it. But over and over the thoughts cycle through his head - half the man he was and no respect for his memory and all the rest of his guilt and doubts.

And he sorta falls asleep like that, eventually, still clutching Tadashi's hat in both hands.]

[Does Tadashi look like a stunt-puller to you, bro? Aside from the occasional scooter jump and that running-into-burning-buildings trick he does.]

Will I fit into your Hulk gloves?

[Raising both hands and waggling his fingers at Hiro. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't at least a little interested in some of those interesting upgrades.]

Okay wait give him a sec he's looking over his hands and contemplating that seriously. And then looking at Tadashi's hands. And then looking at Tadashi.]

Fitting into the gloves is one thing. Fitting to the magnetic ports on Baymax's armor is...complicated.

Do you see this face, Hiro? The well-used "you can't be serious" face.]

[And this is the deliberately, smugly oblivious face used in response.]

It's totally safe! Those are industrial grade electromagnets. I'm not gonna fall off.

I meant being carried without the aid of industrial grade magnets while flying at supersonic speeds.

[Nah, was that what you meant? He had no idea.]

You don't have to worry about that! Baymax is a good healthcare companion. He hasn't dropped anybody yet.

Forgive me if I'm wary. It's not exactly what he was designed for.

Tadashi, come on!

[He tackles the arm of his brother's chair, pouting violently. Don't crush his hopes and dreams, dude.]

We'll make you like...one of those dumb baby slings, but bigger! But you have to do it. Seriously.

[Aw, dude. Dude, not that face. That's not even fair.

Tadashi just stares at Hiro for a few seconds, fighting an eternal battle. Flying without proper safety harnesses in place sounds like a terrible idea, but it's Hiro and Baymax...




... and soon he's sighing, slumping in his seat.]

I don't need a baby sling.

[You win this one, Hiro.]

[The pout melts away almost immediately, replaced by a huge, triumphant grin. Hiro lays off the chair arm and pumps both fists in the air.

Hiro wins again.]

I'm wearing my helmet, though.

I hope it's as exciting as you're making it out to be, or it'll be one heck of a let down.
