[You don't get to call Baymax out to the bad part of town and crawl out of a sewer covered in god knows what just to side step your very worried brother. Dodge as much as you like, Hiro, because Tadashi's just going to keep following after... until Hiro finally does give his explanation. Pretty vague and rushed as far as explanations go (not that he was expecting too much detail with Hiro in his current state), but attention-catching in the right ways.
Okay, let's be real, in one very important way.
Not too long ago the mention of Robert Callaghan would've brought with it a myriad of different emotions, with worry definitely among them. Maybe a little fear for his former professor. Worry's definitely still there. Fear as well, but it's a different kind of fear, followed by confusion and a very brief expression that would best be described as wounded. What happened to Callaghan, and what did Hiro have to do with it? What else has his little brother been getting up too while Tadashi's been distracted by his own... issues? He wants nothing more than to snatch Hiro up like he did that night at the pier and take him home, but if Callaghan really is down there and really does need help...
That wounded expression passes quickly, replaced with that tight-lipped, forced neutral expression that Tadashi's been wearing more and more often lately. The one he dons when he can't quite manage a smile and he's trying to pretend that nothing's wrong when in fact everything is wrong and he can't even argue because Hiro's right, Tadashi did set the example-]
